Banda Brava
Banda Brava is a Mexican technobanda group formed in Sinaloa, Mexico, in 1990. Initially started as Ilusión 83 in 1983, the group rebranded to Banda Brava after not achieving the expected success. Known for their dynamic performances and a lineup that can vary in size, Banda Brava has been associated with other Latin style groups such as Banda Cuxpala and Banda Movil. Their debut album, "Cumbia O.K.," was released in 1990, and they have since recorded nearly a dozen albums under the Balboa Records label, including compilation albums and a video. Some of their popular songs include "La Sirenita," "Enamorado de Ti," and "Mataron A Un Federal." Despite lineup changes and the formation of Banda Texana by some former members, Banda Brava has maintained a significant presence in the regional Mexican music scene with albums like "Colección de oro" and "Bueno pa' bailar." Their music often explores themes of love and heartbreak, resonating with a wide audience and earning them a devoted following.
