Luis Carlos Campillo Hernández, known professionally as Lucho Campillo, was a Colombian accordionist, composer, and singer. He was also skilled as an accordion technician. Throughout his career, he lived in California and was associated with several musical groups, including El Conde Y Su Corte, Los Autenticos Corraleros, Los Indios Caribe, Lucho Campillo Y La Potencia, Lucho Campillo Y Su Conjunto, Pluma y Sus Cumbiamberos, and Ritmo Corralero. He passed away on November 22, 2021. Lucho Campillo was the father of accordionist Lucho Campillo Jr. and percussionist Juan Carlos Campillo, and the grandfather of accordionist Luis Campillo.
