Julie Caignault, born on November 14, 1970, in Paris, France, is a multifaceted French artist known for her work as an actress, director, and screenwriter. From an early age, she was drawn to acting, pursuing theater studies at Cours Perimony and later attending an Actors Studio workshop at Studio 34. Her early career included appearances in television commercials for brands like Danone.

Caignault gained recognition with her role as Isabelle in the sitcom "Premiers Baisers," which aired on TF1 starting in 1991. Concurrently, she took singing lessons with Raymonde Viret and ventured into music, releasing singles such as "Lola au chocolat," "La même histoire," "Collection de garçons," and "Lolita," some of which she wrote herself. She performed as an opening act for Hélène Rollès in major venues like the Zénith and La Villette in France.

In addition to her music career, Caignault appeared in TV films like "Le Black" and "Famille fou rire." She married actor Igor Butler in 1993, whom she met during a Mister OK Podium event. After leaving "Premiers Baisers" in 1994, she continued her acting studies at Cours Florent and later appeared in various short films and TV series, including "C'est cool" and "Ange, mon démon."

Caignault expanded her creative pursuits by directing and writing, notably with the short film "Nos petits tracas," which featured Julie Depardieu. Her career also included roles in films like "L'orange" and "Pierres et prières." After a world tour in 2005, she settled in Morocco, opening an art gallery in Marrakech, which she managed until 2009. Her last known film role was in "A morning with gold in its mouth" in 2011.
