El Chato
Sébastien El Chato, born Jean-Sébastien Abaldonato on April 5, 1961, in Marseille, is a French singer and guitarist of Andalusian Gypsy descent. He began his musical journey at a young age, winning several local singing competitions by the age of six. His father, recognizing his talent, connected with record labels in Spain, leading to Sébastien's first professional recording. The family moved to Spain, where he toured with his brothers and performed alongside renowned artist Manolo Escobar. At eight, he opened for Dalida in Marseille.

In 1978, Sébastien released songs such as "Que bonita eres," "Loco loco," and "Solo cantare." He later joined the French TV show "La Classe" and, on the advice of Guy Lux, began singing in French. His 1987 album "Je l’aime" was followed by hits like "Imagine" and "Garde-la." In 1996, he released a double album "Viens m’embrasser" in French and re-recorded his songs in Spanish in 1998.

Sébastien's career extended to musical theater, where he played Count Capulet in "Roméo et Juliette" in 2001 and participated in "Les enfants du soleil" in 2004. He continued performing across France and released the album "Gipsy Rumbas" in 2011. He also wrote "Baila amigo" for Kendji Girac and contributed to the Spanish version of a song for Pixar's "Coco" in 2017.
