Andrea Bauer
Andrea Bauer is a classical cellist born in Germany, who began playing the violin at the age of five and transitioned to the cello at eight. She is a graduate of the prestigious Hochschule der Kuenste in Berlin. Bauer has collaborated with numerous symphony orchestras and chamber music groups across Germany and Europe. Despite her classical upbringing, she has explored and incorporated elements of oriental music, ambient, and jazz into her work. Her global performances have included collaborations with artists such as Lateta Theresa, James Morrison, Natalie Cole, and the Ray Brown Trio, among others.

Bauer's discovery of effects processors and loop machines led her to develop a unique musical style, blending classical cello sounds with oriental and ambient influences. Her music took a definitive shape after meeting her spiritual teacher, Eli Jaxon-Bear, to whom she dedicated her first solo album, "Cello Songs for Silence," released in 2001. Her subsequent album, "Cello Songs from Planet Earth," was released in 2014, further showcasing her innovative musical approach. Bauer has also been active as a moderator, keynote speaker, and lecturer, contributing to contemporary discourse in various international settings.
