Mariano Spagnolo
Mariano Spagnolo, born on September 4, 1974, in Buenos Aires, is an Argentine tenor. His early musical education included piano lessons with Maria Teresa Branda Cárcano in Buenos Aires. He furthered his studies in music at the Carlos Lopez Buchardo National Conservatory in Buenos Aires, where he studied piano under Manuel Massone and voice with Carmen Favre. Spagnolo continued his training at the Teatro Colón's theater academy, studying with Alfred Horn, Julio Saraví, and Aída Fileni. He also took courses with Wolfgang Brendel at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München and Mirella Freni at the Cubec Foundation in Modena, Italy. Since 2001, Spagnolo has resided in Munich.
His performances include appearances on the ZDF-Theaterkanal and concerts with the Akademisches Sinfonieorchester München, as well as performances with the Akademisches Symphonieorchester München e.V. under the direction of Maestro Emiliano Greizerstein in Germering. Spagnolo is featured on a CD recording of Karl Amadeus Hartmann's "Wachsfigurenkabinett" with the Junges Ensemble München, conducted by Philipp Vogler.
In 2024, Spagnolo performed at the Fleni Solidarity Gala at the Teatro Colón, where he captivated the audience with renditions of "O sole mio" by Eduardo di Capua and "Nessun Dorma" by Puccini, alongside soprano María José Badano.
