Louis Henneve
Louis Hennevé, born Louis Jules Houzeau on February 6, 1885, in France, was a prolific French songwriter, poet, and lyricist. He was affiliated with SACEM and was known for his contributions to the French music scene, particularly in the mid-20th century. Hennevé wrote and adapted numerous songs, often collaborating with Louis Palex. His works include adaptations of well-known English songs into French, such as "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" ("Fumée aux yeux") and "Begin the Beguine" ("Divine biguine"). He was credited with 28 works, with some of his songs being covered by various artists over the years. Louis Hennevé passed away on December 31, 1972.
