Albert Stanton
Albert Stanton is a pseudonym used by Al Brackman, a music publisher and co-founder of The Richmond Organization, a music publishing and promotion company established in 1941. Brackman, born in Brooklyn, New York, used the name Albert Stanton as a co-writer on some of the songs he published, most notably "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." This song was featured in several films, including "The Bucket List" (2007), "No Reservations" (2007), and "Dead Calm" (1989). Brackman passed away on October 9, 1992, in La Jolla, California, at the age of 80.
