Michel Emer
Michel Emer, born Michel Benjamin Rosenstein on June 19, 1906, in St. Petersburg, Russian Empire, was a notable French chanson songwriter and jazz pianist. He passed away on November 23, 1984, in Paris, France. Emer's passion for jazz led him to leave his family at the age of 17 to perform as a pianist in cabarets. Over his career, he became a prolific composer, lyricist, and performer, contributing significantly to the genre of French chansons. He was also involved as a bandleader and radio producer.
