Poindexter
Justin Poindexter is a guitarist, banjoist, and songwriter from the rolling hills of North Carolina, known for his work in American roots music, including jazz, blues, country, and folk. A descendant of a long line of storytellers, Poindexter has performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center and has been featured in the film "The Promise" and the series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel." He co-leads the Americana ensemble Silver City Bound and has collaborated with numerous notable artists. Poindexter is also dedicated to music education, co-designing the "Let Freedom Swing" jazz concert series. His 2014 album "Diner in the Sky" with The Amigos won Americana Album of the Year from the Independent Music Awards.
