Beso Kacharava is a Georgian sound designer and entrepreneur known for his significant contributions to the sound departments of various films and TV series. He founded POSTRED, a Tbilisi-based sound-production company, in 2015. Under his leadership, POSTRED has become a prominent name in the industry, working with major clients like Netflix, A24, HBO, Sony, Paramount Pictures, and Tencent.

Beso's passion for sound and music was influenced by his mother, who introduced him to new bands, and his uncle, an engineer who sparked his interest in technology. His early exposure to filmmaking came through friendships with budding filmmakers, which fueled his interest in sound design.

Despite an initial academic pursuit in European Studies and Philosophy, Beso shifted his focus to sound design, studying at the Vancouver Film School. He returned to Georgia to establish his audio post-production facility, working on a range of projects including films, TV shows, and video games. Beso emphasizes practical experience and mentorship in mastering sound design, which he found lacking in local film schools.

Beso has been involved in various challenging projects, such as the TV shows "Paradox," "Tiflisi," and "Kerchi," where he led his team in creating immersive soundscapes under tight deadlines without compromising quality. His work has earned him recognition, with one award win and three nominations to his name.
