R Slijngaard
Raymond Lothar Slijngaard, born on June 28, 1971, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is a Dutch singer, rapper, and songwriter best known as one half of the Eurodance duo 2 Unlimited. Slijngaard, also known by aliases such as Kid Ray and Rayvano, rose to fame in the early 1990s when he joined forces with vocalist Anita Doth and Belgian producers Jean-Paul DeCoster and Phil Wilde to form 2 Unlimited. The group achieved international success with hits like "Get Ready for This," "No Limit," and "Tribal Dance," becoming a staple in the Eurodance scene.

Slijngaard was recognized for his distinctive hairstyle, often featuring a shaved head with a few dreadlocks, and his energetic performances. After 2 Unlimited disbanded in 1996, he pursued a solo career and established his own record label, X-Ray Records/Rayvano Productions, named after his son. He also collaborated with various artists and formed groups such as VIP Allstars.

In 2009, Slijngaard reunited with Anita Doth for a 2 Unlimited comeback, performing at events like the "I Love the 90s" concert in Belgium. Throughout his career, Slijngaard has remained active in the music industry, contributing to various projects and continuing to perform with 2 Unlimited.
