D Fairstein
David Fairstein, also known by aliases such as Fabrice Cuitad, Franck Martinelli, and Rick De Seltz, is a musician who was involved in the formation of the German musical project Enigma. Enigma was founded in 1990 by Michael Cretu, with Fairstein and Frank Peterson contributing to the project. Fairstein's involvement in Enigma was significant during the creation of their debut album, MCMXC a.D., which became an international success, largely due to the hit single "Sadeness (Part I)." This album, characterized by its blend of Gregorian chants and modern dance beats, marked a new direction in music that defied traditional rules and embraced mysticism. While Fairstein's role was pivotal in the early stages of Enigma, he is listed as a past member of the project. His contributions to Enigma's unique sound helped the project achieve worldwide recognition and commercial success.
