Romano Musumara
Romano Musumarra, born on July 21, 1956, in Rome, Italy, is a renowned Italian composer, arranger, musician, and record producer. His early musical education began at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia, where he studied piano under Sergio Perticaroli and Fausto Di Cesare, composition with Armando Renzi, and orchestral direction with Franco Ferrara. He also pursued studies in sacred music at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music.

In the 1970s, Musumarra formed the melodic pop-rock group La Bottega dell'Arte, achieving notable success. He also collaborated with Claudio Gizzi on the electronic album "Automat" in 1978. By the 1980s, he had embarked on a career as a composer and arranger, working with Italian artists like Riccardo Cocciante, Mango, and Fred Bongusto.

Musumarra's international breakthrough came in 1983 when he began working in France, notably with Jeanne Mas, whose first two albums sold millions of copies. His success in France led him to collaborate with artists such as Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and Elsa Lunghini, for whom he wrote the hit "T'en va pas."

Throughout his career, Musumarra has worked with numerous international stars, including Celine Dion, Ray Charles, Luciano Pavarotti, and Il Divo. He has sold over 25 million records worldwide and received the honor of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 1988 from the French Minister of Culture.

In recent years, Musumarra has focused on operatic pop, collaborating with artists like Vittorio Grigolo and Alessandro Safina. He continues to work from his Studio Romus in Italy, developing new projects and contributing to the music industry with his extensive experience and talent.
