BeBe Winans, born Benjamin Glenn Winans on September 17, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan, is a renowned American gospel and R&B singer. He is a prominent member of the Winans family, a group widely recognized for their contributions to gospel music. BeBe began his career as a background singer for his brothers, The Winans, and later gained prominence alongside his sister, CeCe Winans, as part of the duo BeBe & CeCe Winans. They initially gained attention as the "PTL Singers" on Jim Bakker's television show, The PTL Club, where they recorded the popular album "Lord Lift Us Up."

The duo released several successful albums, including "BeBe & CeCe Winans," "Heaven," "Different Lifestyles," "First Christmas," and "Relationships." Their work earned them numerous accolades, including Grammy Awards and Dove Awards. In 1995, BeBe and CeCe pursued solo careers but reunited in 2009 for the album "Still," featuring the Dove Award-winning song "Close to You."
