D Deutscher
Alma Deutscher, born in 2005, is a renowned composer, conductor, pianist, and violinist. She began playing the piano at the age of two and the violin at three. By six, she had composed her first piano sonata, and at nine, a concerto for violin and orchestra. Alma has been praised by eminent figures such as conductor Zubin Mehta, who called her "one of the greatest musical talents today," and Sir Simon Rattle, who described her as a "force of nature."

Her opera, "Cinderella," has been performed on three continents to sold-out audiences and was hailed as a "once-in-a-lifetime opera-going event." Alma made her Carnegie Hall debut in December 2019 to repeated standing ovations. She has performed as a soloist with prestigious orchestras, including the Israel Philharmonic and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and has appeared in major festivals like the Lucerne Festival and Beijing Music Festival.

Deutscher's first piano solo album, "From My Book of Melodies," was released by Sony Classical. She plays on a Stradivarius violin from 1683, on loan from a generous patron, and a 2015 violin by Peter Greiner. Alma has been featured in international media and was the subject of documentaries by the BBC and CBS's "60 Minutes." In 2019, she received the European Culture Prize and was named one of Stern magazine's "Heroes of Tomorrow."
