Peter Oliover
Peter Oliver, born Larry "Peter" Oliver on January 15, 1952, in Southampton, England, is a British musician known for his brief yet impactful tenure with the pop group The New Seekers. His music career began at the age of 15 when he recorded three singles in 1967. In 1969, Oliver joined the cast of the musical "Hair!" initially as an understudy before taking on the lead role of Claude. In 1972, he released a single titled "When Will I See the Light" and an album called "Sunshine."

Oliver's time with The New Seekers was marked by significant achievements, including a US tour with Liza Minnelli and appearances on major TV shows alongside stars like Lulu, David Frost, and Morecambe & Wise. During his less than a year with the group, they achieved two Top 10 hits, including a UK number one single, and participated in the New Seekers' Farewell Tour of the UK. Oliver has also been associated with other musical groups such as Peter Paul And Marty, Sunshine, and Paper Lace. His contributions to music have earned him recognition as a talented pop guitarist and vocalist.
