Pedro Rodrigues, born in Coimbra, Portugal, is a distinguished classical guitarist and arranger. He began his musical journey at the age of five and, by nine, was studying classical guitar under J. M. Lopes at the Leiria’s Conservatory of Arts. He completed his studies there in 1998 with the highest honors and received the Gulbenkian Scholarship. Furthering his education, Rodrigues studied with Alberto Ponce at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, where he earned the Diplome Supérieur de Concertiste with unanimous commendation.

Rodrigues has participated in master-classes with renowned artists such as Leo Brouwer and David Russell and has won over 20 awards, including the Artists International Award Auditions in New York and the Sor Competition in Rome. His performances have graced prestigious venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall in New York and Salle Cortot in Paris. Rodrigues has recorded for labels such as JNS Music and Numérica.
