Alan Gordon
Alan Lee Gordon (April 22, 1944 – November 22, 2008) was an American songwriter renowned for his contributions to the music industry, particularly through his collaborations with Gary Bonner. Born in Natick, Massachusetts, Gordon gained prominence for co-writing iconic songs such as "Happy Together" by The Turtles, which achieved the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1967 and was recognized as one of the Top 50 songs of the 20th century by BMI. His songwriting prowess extended to other hits like "Celebrate" by Three Dog Night.

Throughout his career, Gordon collaborated with a wide array of artists, including Petula Clark, Barbra Streisand, Alice Cooper, and Frank Zappa, among others. His work has been featured in numerous films and television shows, enhancing his legacy within popular culture. Gordon was also a member of the band The Magicians, which he formed with Garry Bonner in 1965.
