Toninho Nascimento
Toninho Nascimento, born Antônio Carlos Nascimento Pinto, is a Brazilian musician whose career began in São Paulo. He initially performed in renowned nightclubs such as A Baiúca, Viva Maria, and Hilton Hotel, showcasing a repertoire rich in Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) with influences from jazz, samba, and classical music. In 1984, he worked alongside Cauby Peixoto, and in 1988, he released his first independent work, a single titled "Jeito de Querer."

In 1993, Toninho released a cassette tape, "Interpretando," which quickly sold out. That same year, he participated in a gospel project and appeared on the "Estrelas no Boca da Noite" series, performing with notable composers like Cláudio Nucci and João Nogueira. His work was praised by American guitarist Stanley Jordan during a visit to Brazil.

Toninho's career expanded internationally with performances in France and Switzerland. In 1995, he signed a four-year contract with TCB Music S.A. in Montreux to produce three CDs of original compositions. His music is characterized by a melodic interpretation and a unique rhythmic style, delivered with a smooth and sophisticated voice.

Since 1997, Toninho has performed in various venues across Brazil, including theaters and public squares, and appeared on the TV program "Raul Gil" for 33 weeks. He recorded the CD "Usina de Talentos" with Warner Music and was involved in the Multiokê project. His public performances have provided him with significant professional opportunities and a personal connection with his audience.
