H. De Groot
Harry de Groot was a prominent Dutch light music conductor, songwriter, accordionist, and singer. Born in Amsterdam on December 24, 1920, he made significant contributions to the music scene from the 1950s until his death in Blaricum on September 27, 2004. Throughout his career, de Groot was involved with several musical groups, including De Hi-Five, Ensemble Eddy Christiani, Frans Poptie En Zijn Solisten, Koor o.l.v. Harry de Groot, Orkest o.l.v. Harry de Groot, and The Harry King Sound. His discography includes notable works such as "Hear The Hora" with Colea Serban and the Orchestra Conducted by Harry de Groot in 1958, and "Renovation" with Harry De Groot Dirigeert Het Groot Omroeporkest Van Radio Berlin in 1979. He also released singles like "What'll I Do?" with De Groot And The Piccadilly Orchestra in 1924 and "Improvisatie 'Herfst'" with Rob Brandon in 1972.
