Roy Ingraham
Roy Ingraham, born Edward Roy Ingraham on December 5, 1895, in Whiting, Indiana, was a notable American songwriter, composer, and conductor. He was the brother of Herbert Ingraham and began his career as a vaudeville performer from 1916 to 1923. Ingraham later led a dance orchestra in California and at New York's Paramount Hotel Grill. He was also a prolific songwriter, contributing to the music scene at the Florentine Gardens for seven years and working in the film industry. In 1938, he joined ASCAP, collaborating with artists such as Harry Tobias, Dave Oppenheim, Charles O'Flynn, and King Zany. His popular songs include "No Regrets," "Deep In the Arms of Love," "On the Sunny Side of the Rockies," and "I Sing All My Love Songs to You." Ingraham passed away on January 31, 1988, in Los Angeles, California.
