CHRISTINA PERRI
Christina Judith Perri, born on August 19, 1986, in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, is an American singer-songwriter known for her emotive vocals and heartfelt lyrics. She gained widespread recognition with her debut single "Jar of Hearts" in 2010, which was featured on the television show "So You Think You Can Dance," leading to its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 and catching the attention of Atlantic Records. Her debut studio album, "Lovestrong" (2011), received positive reviews and was certified Platinum by the RIAA.
Perri is also renowned for "A Thousand Years," the love theme for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2," which achieved Diamond certification by the RIAA and became a cultural phenomenon. Her second studio album, "Head or Heart" (2014), continued her success with singles like "Human."
Raised in a close-knit Italian and Polish family, Perri was immersed in music and theater from a young age.
