Milton Leeds
Milton Leeds, born Milton Lieberman on December 4, 1909, in Omaha, Nebraska, was a distinguished American songwriter. He was renowned for co-writing the classic songs "Perfidia" alongside Alberto Dominguez and "Misirlou" with Wise, Roubanis, and Russell. Leeds made significant contributions to the music industry, particularly in the 1940s and 1950s, with a focus on jazz and dance band genres. His work was recorded by various orchestras and performers, including the Glenn Miller Orchestra and Fats Waller. Leeds passed away on August 14, 2005, in Boca Raton, Florida.
