Bette Cannon
Bette Cannon was an American songwriter active during the early 1940s. She is credited with co-writing the song "Just a Little Bit South of North Carolina," which was recorded by the Gene Krupa Orchestra featuring Anita O'Day, as well as by Mitchell Ayres and the Four Belles. Cannon also contributed to the song "Fifteen Minute Intermission," recorded by the Four King Sisters with Alvino Rey. Her work primarily involved collaborations with other composers and lyricists, contributing to the jazz and dance band music scene of her time.
