Greer is an indie rock band based in Orange County, California, formed in 2018. The band consists of four members: Josiah on lead vocals, Corbin Jacques on guitar, Seth Thomson on bass, and Lucas Ovalle on drums. The group began after Thomson met Ovalle at a show, and they were later joined by Jacques and Josiah. Greer made their internet debut with an acoustic set shared on YouTube, followed by their first official single, "Song for Me," released on Spotify in January 2019.

The band gained popularity after touring with The Regrettes in 2019 and later opened for The Flaming Lips in 2021. They have released two EPs and a number of singles, including "Happy People" and "All That’s Left Behind," which showcase their signature blend of indie and soft rock melodies. Greer's debut album, "Big Smile," released in 2025, marks a significant evolution in their sound, developed after a hiatus and a period of personal growth. The album was produced with Rob Schnapf and Matt Schuessler and reflects the band's journey of rediscovery and maturity.
