Andy Hill
Andy Hill, born in 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, is an accomplished American music supervisor, record producer, and music educator. He studied at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and served as vice-president of music production for The Walt Disney Studios from 1987 to 1996. During this period, known as the Disney Renaissance, Hill oversaw music production for iconic films such as The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Sister Act, collaborating with renowned composers like Alan Menken and Hans Zimmer. His work contributed to films that earned nine Academy Awards in music categories.

After his tenure at Disney, Hill founded Andy Hill Film + Music and supervised projects including Message In A Bottle, Ed Wood, James and the Giant Peach, and Happy Feet. He won a Grammy Award in 2000 for producing the Best Musical Album for Children for Elmo In Grouchland.

From 2006 to 2011, Hill directed the graduate program in Music Composition for the Screen at Columbia College Chicago. He later helped launch graduate composition programs at Berklee Valencia in Spain, focusing on film scoring and electronic music production. In 2013, Hill moved to Belgium to serve as executive soundtrack producer at Galaxy Studios and launched Cinemuse VOF for music supervision.

Under the pen name A.W. Hill, he has authored three novels and a screenplay about Nikola Tesla. Hill continues to contribute to the music industry through composition, production, and supervision.
