Billy Meyers
Billie Myers is a British rock singer and songwriter born on June 14, 1971, in Coventry, England. She is best known for her 1997 hit single "Kiss the Rain," which achieved significant success in both the UK and the US. The song reached number 4 on the UK Singles Chart and number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, spending 31 weeks on the chart. Her debut album, "Growing, Pains," released in 1997, went gold, largely due to the success of "Kiss the Rain."

Myers received a Brit Award nomination in 1999 for Best British Female Solo Artist. She has been open about her bisexuality and has spoken publicly about her struggles with depression, serving as an ambassador for the Jed Foundation and supporting The Mindfull Initiative.

Her second album, "Vertigo," was released in 2000 and included the singles "Am I Here Yet? (Return to Sender)" and "Should I Call You Jesus?" The album was noted for its bold lyrics and pop hooks. Despite critical acclaim, her career faced challenges, including being dropped by Universal Records and a costly managerial dispute.

In 2005, she released "Just Sex," which became a top 10 hit on the Billboard Dance Club Play chart. Myers later founded her own label, FruitLoop Records, and continued to write and record music, collaborating with notable songwriters. Despite personal and professional setbacks, Myers has maintained her presence in the music industry with her distinctive voice and songwriting talent.
