George Tchlaidze
Georgy Tchaidze is a distinguished Russian pianist known for his exceptional talent and contributions to classical music. Born in 1988 in St. Petersburg, he began studying piano and violin at the age of seven. Tchaidze honed his skills at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory under the tutelage of Professor Sergey Dorensky and later pursued a master's degree at the Berlin University of the Arts with Professor Klaus Hellwig.

His career gained significant momentum after winning the 1st Prize at the Honens International Piano Competition in 2009. This achievement led to performances in prestigious venues such as Berlin's Konzerthaus, London's Wigmore Hall, and New York's Carnegie Hall. Tchaidze has also been a prominent figure at international festivals, including the Verbier Festival and the Lucerne Festival.

In 2015, he won the First Prize at the IV International Piano Competition in Tromsø, Norway, and participated in the Van Cliburn Competition in 2017, reaching the finals. Tchaidze is particularly noted for his chamber music collaborations, performing with ensembles like the Cecilia String Quartet and the Borodin Quartet. His discography includes recordings of Schubert's works and compositions by Medtner, Mussorgsky, and Prokofiev, released under the Honens label.

Tchaidze continues to perform globally, maintaining a robust schedule that includes solo recitals and collaborations with renowned musicians. His artistry is celebrated for its sensitivity and technical precision, earning him a respected place in the world of classical music.
