Alexander Popov, born Aleksandr Vitalyevich Popov on April 2, 1986, in Saratov, Russia, is a renowned Russian DJ and trance music producer. He developed an interest in electronic music at the age of 15 and began performing in local clubs by 2004. In 2005, he co-authored and presented a radio show, marking the beginning of his career in the music industry.

Popov gained international recognition with his track "Vapour Trails" in 2007, which was supported by top DJs like Armin van Buuren and Tiësto. His music has been featured in major compilations and supported by major European labels. Over the years, he has released more than 200 tracks and has performed in over 40 countries.

In 2017, he founded Interplay Records, a sublabel of Armada Music, focusing on dance music genres. The label is recognized globally and organizes events in various international locations. Popov continues to perform globally and remains a significant figure in the EDM scene, ranked as the 114th DJ in the world in 2023. He resides in Moscow, Russia, and is married with a son.
