Ashlee Simpson
Ashlee Simpson, born Ashley Nicolle Simpson on October 3, 1984, in Waco, Texas, is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality. She is the younger sister of pop singer Jessica Simpson. Ashlee began her career as a backup dancer for her sister and appeared in television commercials at age 15. She later pursued acting, securing a main role in the TV series "7th Heaven."

Her music career took off with the release of her debut album, "Autobiography," in 2004. The album, which featured the hit single "Pieces of Me," reached number one on the US Billboard 200 and sold over five million copies worldwide. Despite a controversial lip-syncing incident on "Saturday Night Live," Simpson's second album, "I Am Me," also debuted at number one in 2005.
