Malcolm John Rebennack
Malcolm John Rebennack, Jr. (November 20, 1941 – June 6, 2019), better known by his stage name Dr. John, was an American singer, songwriter, and pianist. His music was a unique blend of New Orleans blues, jazz, R&B, soul, and funk. Dr. John achieved significant success with his song "Right Place, Wrong Time," which was the first single from his sixth album, "In the Right Place," and became his biggest hit single.
