Glenn Sutton
Born Royce Glenn Sutton in Hodge, Louisiana, in September 1937, Glenn Sutton developed a passion for country music early in his life, influenced by listening to WSM and The Grand Ole Opry on the radio. Known as the architect of the Countrypolitan sound, Sutton was instrumental in the success of Lynn Anderson. A Hall of Fame songwriter and Grammy-winning producer, he was recognized as a creative force ahead of his time and one of Nashville’s beloved and prolific artists. Among his notable works is the classic song "Almost Persuaded."
