Rafael Ruíz
Rafael Ruiz Perdigones, born on November 10, 1938, in Dos Hermanas, Seville, Spain, is a Spanish singer best known as a member of the musical duo Los del Río. Formed in 1962 alongside Antonio Romero Monge, Los del Río gained international fame with their 1993 hit single "Macarena," which became a global phenomenon after being remixed by the Bayside Boys in 1995. The duo has released over 20 albums, beginning with "Luces de Sevilla" in 1967, and they continue to be active in the music industry. Rafael Ruiz's contributions to the duo's success have helped cement Los del Río's place in Latin pop and dance music history.
