Jaime Luis Gomez
Jaime Luis Gomez, known professionally as Taboo, was born on July 14, 1975, in Los Angeles, California. Of Mexican descent, with Shoshone heritage from his grandmother, he attended Rosemead High School and Richard Garvey Intermediate School. Taboo is best known as a member of the Black Eyed Peas, a group he joined in 1995. The Black Eyed Peas, originally formed as Atban Klann, gained international fame with hit albums such as "Elephunk" and "Monkey Business," and have won multiple Grammy Awards.
In addition to his work with the Black Eyed Peas, Taboo has pursued solo projects and collaborations with artists like Shakira and Juanes. His career extends beyond music into acting, with roles in films like "Cosmic Radio," and he has served as a judge on MTV's "Top Pop Group." Taboo is also an author, having published his autobiography "Fallin Up – My Story" in 2011, and contributed to the Marvel Comics series "Werewolf by Night." Married to Jaymie Dizon since 2008, he is a father to three children.
