Harry Wayne Casey
Harry Wayne Casey, born on January 31, 1951, is the lead singer and creative force behind the popular '70s and '80s pop/soul group K.C. and the Sunshine Band. Known for his work as a writer and producer, Casey has been instrumental in creating hits for artists such as Betty Wright and Gwen McCrae. Some of his most popular songs with K.C. and the Sunshine Band include "Please Don’t Go," "That’s the Way (I Like It)," "Get Down Tonight," "Boogie Shoes," "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty," "I’m Your Boogie Man," and "Keep It Comin’ Love." Additionally, he contributed to the hit "Rock Your Baby" by George McCrae and "Fallin’" by Teri DeSario.
