Jean-Paul Imbert
Jean-Paul Imbert was a distinguished French organist and educator, born on July 9, 1942, in Clermont-Ferrand, France. He pursued his musical studies in Paris under the guidance of renowned organists Pierre Cochereau and Jean Guillou. Imbert served as the organist for the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul church and imparted his knowledge as a teacher at the Schola Cantorum de Paris. His career was marked by a dedication to both performance and education in the field of organ music. Tragically, Jean-Paul Imbert passed away in a drowning accident on September 8, 2025, at the age of 83.
