Svetlana Volkova
Career: An Honored Artist of Russia, she is a soprano and soloist with the Mariinsky Theatre.
Background: Volkova studied at the Leningrad State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire and began her career at the Maly Musorgsky Theatre of Opera and Ballet (now the Mikhailovsky Theatre) in 1974.
