Ilya Konovalov
Ilya Konovalov is a distinguished violinist, born in 1977 in Novosibirsk, Russia, into a musical family. He began his violin studies at the age of seven with Professor Zakhar Bron, followed by studies under Professor Aleksey Gvozdev. As a young student, Konovalov achieved recognition by winning prizes at the All-Russian Competition and the Wieniawski International Competition. He further honed his skills at the Vienna Academy of Music under the tutelage of Professor Dora Schwarzberg.

Since 1997, Konovalov has served as the Concertmaster of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Throughout his career, he has performed as a soloist with numerous prestigious orchestras across Europe and the Far East, including the Moscow Virtuosi, the Netherlands Radio Chamber Orchestra, the St. Petersburg State Capella Symphony Orchestra, and the Moscow State Symphony. His contributions to the world of classical music are widely recognized, and he continues to inspire audiences with his exceptional talent and dedication to his craft.
