Lidia Kovalenko
Lidia Kovalenko is a distinguished Russian violinist and violist, born in Novosibirsk. She is an alumna of the St. Petersburg Conservatory, where she studied under esteemed professors including E. Komarova, A. Yuryev, and Michail Gantvarg. Kovalenko has earned recognition as a laureate of the 9th All-Russian Violin Competition and received a special prize for her performance of Shostakovich's work at the International Competition in Hannover.

She maintains an active concert career, performing both solo and chamber music across Russia and internationally in Europe, Japan, China, and Brazil. Kovalenko is a concertmaster and also shares her expertise through teaching. Her discography includes collaborations with The St. Petersburg Chamber Soloists and recordings of works by composers such as Brahms, Shostakovich, Schubert, and others.
