Sergei Oskolkov
Sergei Alexandrovich Oskolkov, born in 1952 in Stalin, is a distinguished Russian composer and pianist. He graduated from the Donetsk Musical College and later attended the Leningrad State Conservatory, where he studied piano under Professor P.A. Serebryakov and composition with Professors V.L. Nagovitsin and Yu.A. Falik, completing his studies in 1977 and 1981, respectively. Oskolkov has composed approximately a hundred works across various genres, including three operas, three musicals, and numerous pieces for piano, orchestra, and folk instruments.

Oskolkov has been actively performing since 1977, collaborating with renowned musicians such as conductors A. Titov and V. Ziva, cellists S. Roldugin and O. Sendetsky, and many others. He has also been a member of several prestigious music organizations, including the Union of Composers of the USSR and the Union of Concert Figures of St. Petersburg.

In addition to his performance and compositional work, Oskolkov is an esteemed educator, having taught at the School of Art V.A. Gavrilina and the Russian State Pedagogical University A.I. Herzen. He currently heads the sound engineering department at the St. Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions.

Oskolkov is the founder and artistic director of the International Festival of Arts "Sergei Oskolkov and His Friends," established in 1997. This festival celebrates music, painting, poetry, theater, and cinema, attracting artists from around the world. His contributions to music and education have earned him the "Honored Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation" award.
