Youth Chamber Choir Saint Petersburg

The Youth Chamber Choir Saint Petersburg was founded in 1992 by Yulia Khutoretskaya, a graduate of the St. Petersburg State Rimsky Korsakov Conservatory. Khutoretskaya, who began conducting at the age of 15, has directed the choir since its inception. The choir is known for its performances of religious music by composers such as Rakhmaninov and Tchaikovsky. In addition to her role with the choir, Khutoretskaya serves as the artistic director of the Chamber Choir and Vocal Consort of the Philharmonic Society of St. Petersburg, and she is also the artistic director and conductor of the opera choir at the Opera and Ballet Theatre of the St. Petersburg Conservatory.
