Mario Panzeri
Mario Panzeri (Milan, October 11, 1911 – Milan, May 19, 1991) was an Italian lyricist and composer. He made a significant mark in the history of Italian popular music as one of the authors of the first song to win the Sanremo Music Festival, the famous "Grazie dei fiori" sung by Nilla Pizzi. Panzeri also wrote some of the most well-known Italian songs, including "Maramao perché sei morto?", "Pippo non lo sa", "Papaveri e papere", "Casetta in Canadà", "Lettera a Pinocchio", "Nessuno mi può giudicare", "Fin che la barca va", and many others.
