Benny Blanco
Benjamin Joseph Levin, professionally known as Benny Blanco, was born on March 8, 1988, in Grand Prairie, Texas, and grew up in Reston, Virginia. He is an acclaimed American record producer, songwriter, and music executive, recognized for his significant contributions to contemporary pop music. Blanco's career began under the mentorship of Dr. Luke, leading to his involvement in numerous successful productions from 2008 onwards.
Blanco has an extensive portfolio, having produced or co-written for a diverse range of artists including Ed Sheeran, BTS, Eminem, Justin Bieber, Halsey, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Sia, and many others. His work has resulted in over 500 million album-equivalent units sold globally. He has received numerous accolades, including the 2013 Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame, five BMI Songwriter of the Year Awards, and the 2017 iHeartRadio Producer of the Year Award, alongside eleven Grammy nominations.
