Lee Morris
Lee Morris (born 11 January 1970) is an English hard rock and metal drummer, currently known as the drummer for the band Magnum. He hails from Wolverhampton, England, and has been active in the music scene since a young age, starting to play drums at six, taught by his father, Ivor Morris. His early exposure to music led him to join a high school cover band at age 12 and later discover a passion for rock music through albums by Iron Maiden and Kiss.
Morris's professional career began in the early 1980s with the rock covers band Wyzed, followed by a stint with Royale. He gained significant experience with the Birmingham-based band Marshall Law, with whom he recorded an EP, a studio album, and a live album. In 1994, he joined the gothic metal band Paradise Lost, contributing to five albums and touring globally until 2004, when he left due to personal and musical differences.
Post-Paradise Lost, Morris focused on teaching drums and session work, collaborating with bands like Ten and artists such as Danny Vaughn. He recorded albums with Vaughn and Creation's Tears, and performed with Arabia and Paul Sabu. In 2013, he joined the Thin Lizzy tribute band Limehouse Lizzy. Since 2017, Morris has been a member of Magnum, playing on several of their albums.
