Lucio Quarantotto
Lucio Quarantotto (29 April 1957 – 31 July 2012) was an Italian songwriter renowned for his lyrical contributions to several iconic songs. He is best known for writing the lyrics to "Con te partirò" ("With you, I will leave"), a song composed by Francesco Sartori and famously performed by Andrea Bocelli. This song gained further popularity when it was recorded as a duet titled "Time to Say Goodbye" by Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. In addition to this, Quarantotto collaborated with Sartori on other notable pieces such as "Canto della Terra" and "Immenso," both featured on Bocelli's 1999 album "Sogno," and "Mille Lune Mille Onde," included in Bocelli's 2001 album "Cieli di Toscana." His lyrical craftsmanship has left a lasting impact on the world of classical crossover music.
