Michael Collins Ajereh
Michael Collins Ajereh, known professionally as Don Jazzy, is a prominent Nigerian record producer, singer, and entrepreneur. Born on November 26, 1982, in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria, he grew up in Ajegunle, Lagos. Don Jazzy is the founder and CEO of Mavin Records, a leading music label in Nigeria. He started his career as a producer in the early 2000s and has worked with top Nigerian artists such as D’banj, Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, and Korede Bello. Previously, he was the CEO of Mo' Hits Records. Besides his music career, Don Jazzy is known for his philanthropic efforts, supporting causes like the fight against malaria and HIV/AIDS in Africa. He has received numerous awards, including Producer of the Year at the Nigerian Music Awards and the African Muzik Magazine Awards, and is considered one of the most influential figures in African music.
