Ensemble Rustavi—also known as the Georgian State Academic Ensemble (or State Academic Ensemble Rustavi) of Georgian Folk Song and Dance—is a Georgian folk-music and dance ensemble founded in 1968 by singer and folklorist Anzor Erkomaishvili.

From its beginnings, Rustavi set out to perform ethnographically grounded repertoire from across Georgia while presenting it in a concert-ready form, becoming especially associated with the Georgian tradition of polyphonic singing—rich, overlapping vocal lines and distinctive timbres—alongside staged presentations of traditional dances and costumes. Since its formation, the ensemble has toured internationally, with accounts describing performances in more than 50 countries.

Rustavi’s cultural role has been recognized through major heritage and arts acknowledgments, including the UNESCO Pacha Prize (awarded in 2001) for safeguarding and promoting Georgian polyphonic singing. Its recorded output has helped circulate Georgian repertoire beyond the country, including releases such as the 1998 recording *Mirangula* (issued under the name Rustavi Folk Choir) and earlier recordings for the Soviet label Melodiya (reported as beginning with an LP in 1973). Discographical notes also describe Erkomaishvili as leading the ensemble until his death in 2021.
