Brad Fiedel
Bradley Ira Fiedel, born on March 10, 1951, in New York City, is an acclaimed American composer renowned for his work in film and television. Raised in Bayville, New York on Long Island, Fiedel graduated from The Barlow School. His early career included a stint as a keyboardist for Hall & Oates in the mid-1970s, and he was signed as a songwriter to Paul Simon's DeShufflin' Music.

Fiedel began composing music for films in the mid-1970s, contributing to low-budget pictures such as "The Astrologer" (1975) and "Deadly Hero" (1975). He gained prominence with his innovative use of electronic instruments and synthesizers, which became a hallmark of his style. Fiedel achieved significant success with his score for James Cameron's "The Terminator" (1984), for which he was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Music. He continued to collaborate with Cameron on "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" (1991) and "True Lies" (1994).

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Fiedel composed scores for a wide range of films, spanning genres such as science fiction, action, horror, comedy, and drama. Notable works include "Fright Night" (1985), "The Accused" (1988), "Blue Steel" (1990), and "Johnny Mnemonic" (1995). He also composed the jingle for Lightstorm Entertainment, James Cameron's production company.

In the late 1990s, Fiedel retired from scoring films to focus on writing musicals. He has been married to actress Ann Dusenberry since 1993, and they have two daughters, Alixandra and Zoe. The family resides in Santa Barbara, California.
