Aaron Neville
Aaron Joseph Neville, born on January 24, 1941, in New Orleans, Louisiana, is an acclaimed American singer known for his smooth, vibrato-heavy tenor voice and his ability to cross genres including R&B, soul, gospel, jazz, country, and pop. His career took off with the 1966 single "Tell It Like It Is," which reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned a place in the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Neville's solo career flourished in the 1990s with three consecutive platinum-selling albums and a number one spot on the Billboard Jazz chart with "Nature Boy: The Standards Album." He has won four Grammy Awards, including for his duets with Linda Ronstadt, "Don't Know Much" and "All My Life," both of which topped the Adult Contemporary chart. His rendition of the United States national anthem at the Super Bowl, including a 2006 performance with Aretha Franklin and Dr. John, is among his notable appearances.

A founding member of the Neville Brothers, Aaron performed alongside his siblings Art, Charles, and Cyril, contributing significantly to the New Orleans music scene. His collaborations extend to projects like "Rhythm, Country and Blues" with Trisha Yearwood and "The Bodyguard" soundtrack. In 2023, he won a Grammy for Best American Roots Performance for "Stompin' Ground" with the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and was named one of Rolling Stone's 200 Greatest Singers of All Time.

Despite facing personal challenges, including a stint in prison and overcoming a heroin addiction, Neville's resilience and talent have made him a musical icon.
